Rob, Ron and Paul Martin

Earl and my father Clayton, having met as young boys, maintained a close life-long friendship. As such, Earl was an uncle to us, if not by blood than certainly by his constant presence in our lives. For me that was almost 60 years. When our father passed away his advice and help was a steadying factor and I'm sure one of the ways he felt he could honour his good friend. It was appreciated by us. Earl loved a good story, had a great sense of humour, enjoyed a hearty laugh, and we will always remember him fondly. I expect he and Dad are together again sharing hunting stories and singing some of those old school hymns. Rest well, Earl. Rob, Ron and Paul Martin
