Sometimes, families choose to have a private visitation or service, and we are left not knowing how or what to do to show our love and support. Maybe after the visitation and service is complete, we still feel like we want to give more, but are unsure of what more can be done. There are many ways to give the gift of cuisine. To support our local businesses you could order a hot meal from a local restaurant to be delivered, or ask for a pre-made meal to be frozen and can be heated up to be enjoyed later. There are also gift cards/certificates through online applications such as Uber Eats, Skip the Dishes and Door Dash, which could be transferred to an account for the family. You could also provide a gift card to a local grocery store. Grief can affect us all differently, and sometimes we are not motivated to meal plan. The gift of food can help provide the love and support that is needed.

Sympathy Cards, Notes, Letters & Stories
Sharing your loving memories with the family helps with your grief as well as theirs. To know that their loved one will forever be remembered is important. Maybe you have left a condolence online to the family, but there is more you wanted to write. Maybe you have had time to rememeber stroies that you want to share, but are unsure how. Families appreciate sympathy cards, notes, letters and stories about their loved one. Although we are not able to provide you with the families contact information, we can forward your items to them. We would be pleased to collect your sympathy cards, notes, letters and stories and ensure the family receives them.

Plant a Tree
After forest fires or other devastating natural disasters our forests often require a little helping hand to rejuvenate. When a memorial tree is purchased, the proceeds go to planting seedlings in areas that need it most. You could plant a tree in your loved one’s name to help replenish what was lost.
