The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Judith Johnson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Blessed to have known Judy

Judy genuinely cared about everyone and made each of us feel a special part of her loving circle.  Her concerned, competitive, fun and crazy attitude to life was contagious, as she encouraged and prodded us not to just stand by and watch but to participate while heartily enjoying each day. She fiercely fought for the underdog and helped many achieve their unknown potential. She became the glue that held University Heights together.  She made it well known that above all she loved her family, as well as working with children/adolescents, Pilates, Michael Bolton (late 1980s), dance, dogs, double-daring us, golf (maybe not so much loving it as finding it challenging) and sometimes breaking the rules to achieve the desired outcome.  Through her strength, wisdom, friendship, smile, kindness and leadership, she established a firm hold in our hearts and we are blessed to have had her touch our lives. She gave us beautiful memories. With great sorrow I will miss Judy and send heartfelt condolences to Dave, Amy, Madeleine and the rest of the family.
