A hero

My fondest Memories of Doug were when I was 17 yrs old.That's when I left my little hometown to go to Toronto and live with him and Shirley.I felt like a princess.They had a bedroom all ready for me and I didn't have to share it.I lived with them for six years and Iwe enjoyed lots of great times together.I got to know all of Doug's family durning this time and visited them often.Ajax was always a fun visit playing rummoli and watching Doug and Merv get so excited and slamming the table when they got certain cards,eventhough Doug had lots of reason to complain these last few years,he never did.He fought a great fight and never gave up.He just couldn't fight anymore.Love and miss you Doug.
