SOARING ABOVE US
When kites fly in the wind
And the birds sing their songs
When the innocence of youth is treasured
And the future path is long
We all can soar with hope and freedom
When you laughed and you played
And we worked side by side
When our family shared moments
there were beaming lights of pride
We soared with celebrated unity
Your mission wasn’t impossible
The winding twisting road was a hurdle for greater things
Transforming the confidence into a greater power
Leading to the destination of what life brings
He will soar with endless anticipation
When the gentle hand of a father
holds his children in his care
When the wide world of adventure
Is available to share
He will soar with energy and enthusiasm
When the patience for the skill
Requires dexterity and finesse
When the puzzle creates the challenge
For the illusion to perfect
He soars above us with amazement and wonder
Snapshots are moments that only tell the story
Of the many memories we have collected and shared
Remembering the reality of how precious time together
Can quickly disappear
In thoughtful word and deed
With support and generosity
You have left your imprint on us all
Your warmth, kindness and blessing remains for us
to carry on the sensation of you
