I am so sorry to hear of Butch's passing. He was my very first crush at the tender age of 4 or 5 when I lived across the street from the Shantz family on Avondale! I spent a lot of time in my pre school summers across the street with Sandy, Gloria and of course BUTCH. Butch liked to play with my long hair. I never knew him by any other name. The whole Shantz family were wonderful neighbours. So very nice to hear that he had a lovely long marriage, enjoyed fatherhood and was a wonderful grandfather. To be mourned by so many is the mark of a life well lived. Rosemary
