Thanks for the lessons.

I'm so sad to hear of David's passing and my condolences and heartfelt sympathy go out to his family and friends.  Many years ago, I heard that Dr. Rainham taught hypnosis techniques and basically ran to him for help.  I was dealing wth something that caused me a lot of fear and anxiety as well as trying to cope with some past issues.  His techniques worked very well for me and bascally gave me a new lease on life.  I last saw him a few years ago when I read about and went to a group seminar that he gave.  I still listen to his relaxation tapes.  I have tried others and none work for me the way his methods do.  I am so thankful for the help and lessons made possible by him and I'm sure he has helped so many others along the way.  A presence like his will leave a big hole in our universe.  May you rest in peace David although thinking of your very visible energy, it's hard to picture you resting quietly.  Most of my appointments resulted in me waiting for a bit for him to arrive and he would almost always fly down the stairs to his office across from the hospital like a bit of a whirlwind.  Always apologetic for being late probably because he stayed longer or helped more than he counted on before leaving the hospital.  You were a true blessing for me.  I can only hope you were somewhat aware of how much good you did and that you won't be forgotten.
