The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Velma Schmidt can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Hello Bob.

We are so sorry to hear of Velma's death. She was an amazing lady, with a good word for everyone, a welcome that extended to everybody, and a cheerfulness that was contagious.

We well remember Velma waiting for us at St. Philip's when we first arrived in town. She smiled that fabulous smile, said hello, and opened the door of the building for us, and we just knew that we were welcome.

Please know that we will be praying for you as you go through the next difficult days. May God's presence surround you, God's Spirit hold you, and God's love support you, now and always.

Pastor Rick and Deb Pryce.
