Mr. Bitzer was my French teacher in grade 11 in Peterborough. Later when I moved to Kitchener I would occasionally see him walking in downtown. He always remembered me (amazingly). I think he ran for city council shortly after that. Just wanted the family to know I am having good thoughts about him. Sorry for your loss.
