Passed away at Emmanuel Village on Monday, September 28, 2015 at the age of 84 after a difficult battle with cancer. Beloved husband of the late Stella Holdenmajer (June 2010). Loving father of Michael Klein (Mary), Patti (Matt) Schumacher, Tina (Gary) Swift. Cherished Opa to Alexandra Klein; Melissa "Moe" (Kyle MacKenzie), Jessica, and Kevin (Katie Brown) Schumacher; and, Joshua Swift. Will also be greatly missed by his great-granddaughter, Audrey Schumacher. Dear brother of Kay Fisher and beloved uncle to Sharon Browne and family. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Maria Klein and his sister Moni (David) Butler.
Martin retired from Lear Siegler (formerly General Springs) after 32 years of service.

Martin's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 pm on Thursday October 1, 2015 and on Friday October 2, 2015 from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The liturgy service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Friday, followed by a reception at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Woodland Cemetery in Kitchener.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family (cards are available at the funeral home).

Opa will be remembered for attending all of his grandchildren's sporting events, being an avid fisherman and famous for his delicious family BBQ's.
