As Uncle George's niece.. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was always the "smart guy" in the room. My father, Roland who was his brother in-law looked forward to his company so much ..because George always had so many interesting tidbits on almost everything. One of my finest memories was when he and Aunt Betty spent a few winters in St. Augustine, Florida with my parents. What a time they had.. ocean walks, visits to Florida historical sites, and dinners at O'Steen's Restaurant for the Early Bird dinner hour. I was glad to see that he made it to Port Hilford Nova Scotia a couple of years ago. Wayne and Susan my deepest condolences. I wasn't told of his passing, but I am glad I was listed on the obituary as his niece. His memory lives on .. I am glad he was in my life..you had a great dad!
