As I was looking over the obits in the Kitchener Record, I saw Mr Calder’s name. I was surprised to see it was the same Mr Calder that taught me Geography at Woburn. Now that I’m a senior myself, I often reflect on my geography classes. They were amongst my favourites to be sure. Funny how a week ago when travelling with my adult daughter, I started to explain about how the drumlins were formed and the difference between them and moraines. That speaks to what an amazing teacher he was! He was for sure one of my favourites and I was blessed to have him as one of my teachers. Fran Perkins Schneider
