I was fortunate to coach Francis during his Minor Midget season and proud to see him have great success during that time with our team. Francis was a special player for us and our team benefited in many ways through Francis. My best memory of Francis is an incredible stretch pass through two defenders to Johnny Nay to beat London Gold in overtime in the playoffs. Condolence: I met Francis in grade 6, I was playing hockey on the street one day when he just came over and asked to play with us, after that we spent hours playing road hockey together after school as we grew up and although we didn't stay connected through high school he always stopped to say hi when he saw me. I couldn't believe it when I heard he passed, you will be missed but never forgotten.
