Condolences to Donna and the extended family.
Ed was my oldest friend!
We grew up together literally from "Babyhood"
My mother and his were good friends and we lived very close to one another in the North Ward. We went through Sacred Heart School (and were alter boys at the church) and St. Jeromes College.
After graduation our lives took different paths with my going to the U of T and living in Toronto and Calgary thereafter. In later life we re-connected--as if we had never parted--visiting occasionally and exchanging e-mails. It was very sad to watch his
decline in the last few years--at a distance.
Rest in peace Ed. You will always be MY OLDEST FRIEND!!
