One thing I shared with my Onkel Adi was a love of reading ... especially history. He loved a good story, both reading them and telling them!
I will always treasure the series of letters he sent me recounting the story of his life; from the early days in East Germany; the wrestling team; defection to the west; and the struggles of building a new life in Canada.
He will not be forgotten.
