Condolence: I was sitting in my car today waiting for my husband to come out of his eye clinic follow up. I was reminiscing the great experience I had as a patient of Dr. Rainham in 1979 and googled him.
Gone too soon. Such a fast exit leaving so many in shock.
He came to KW Hospital on Christmas Day 1981 and delivered my first child. He was happy it was a quick birth so he could go home to spend Christmas with his family.
Years later I saw him in a take out place in Waterloo. He had 2 younger children with him. He took the time to say he certainly did remember me. I will
Never forget how friendly and professional he was to me.

Condolence: Northfield Medical Centre mourns the passing of Dr. David Rainham (Dave). He was always there for all of the patients, staff and physicians at the clinic. He was a mentor, counsellour, friend, invaluable resource, a down to earth man. Dave's smile, laugh and music will stay with us always.

Condolence: Sad to hear Dr.Rainham died over the weekend. . He was a amazing doctor and he is going to be sadly missed . He showed more compassion and went up and above for his patients. I was lucky to be one of his patients that he kept after retiring two years ago. He kept just a handful. It does not surprise me that he was rushing to help someone else when he died . Just shows his soul. It will be hard to replace someone you have known for 30 years and had the compassion he had.My heart goes out to his family.
