The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Phyllis Mawson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Indigo
Condolence: My mom was a spitfire. She was one of the smartest people I've ever known. She loved her job because she got to be a detective, every day, and she was always outsmarting clients who were trying to pull a fast one. She loved her family dearly. She was determined to get better so she could spend more time with her grandkids, meet the newest baby, see Katie's wedding. She, more than anyone, would have understood how hard it is to sum up someone's life in a paragraph. She didn't like speeches, but whenever she gave one at a family wedding, she was the star of the show. Mom, I love you and wish I could have been there with you that last day. I'm glad you are finally able to feel the peace you deserve.

Condolence From: Scott and Kelly Mawson
Condolence: It is with great sadness that we extend our condolences to you Ernie at the loss of your best friend. To you Jackie, Indigo, Jilly, Sam and Katie for the loss of your Mom.
We have been sharing lots of stories and memories over this last year when visiting with Phyllis and one of the wonderful feelings we received from her was warmth and love. "Love you bunches" was always be her final words in our conversations and we felt that love.
We will continue our Run for the Cure wearing our bright pink colours, pink feathers and outlandish glasses. We will continue carrying on this tradition while saying Phyllis' mantra "f*!^ cancer".
Phyllis has the unique Mawson humour as most of us do which helps us through these hard times.
Please take comfort in each other, share the stories and the memories as Phyllis would want you to.

Lots of Love
from Phyllis Brother and Sister In Law
