Obituary for Taylor James Michael Laverty

Laverty, Taylor:

Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 21.

Cherished son of Mike and Beth Laverty. Taylor was our little angel.

Dear brother of Hunter and Austin.

Beloved grandson of Ray & Dolly Kuntz (Papa & Meme) and Brian Laverty, Alison Noble Laverty. He will also be missed by his great-grandparents Fred & Dorothy DeLong and Irene Kuntz.

He will be lovingly remembered by his uncles and aunts "Uncle" Shawn & "Auntie" Steph, Scott & Kate, Lincoln & Aliesha, Joanne & Dave, Kyle & Tabitha as well as many great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins. All these people were a great support to Taylor though out his life.

We want to thank all the nurses and staff at Sunbeam Centre - you are an extended family to Taylor. A special thank-you to Dr. Ian Wilson - you are incredibly special to Taylor and to the rest of our family (Quack-quack). We also wish to thank the staff at the London Health Science Center - PCCU as well as the staff at Grand River ICU. You all hold a special place in his and our hearts.

Taylor's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Private cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held at Sunbeam Centre on November 2, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sunbeam Centre or KidsAbility would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
