Condolence: To Shirley’s Family. It is with sadness I have learned of Shirley’s passing. I was so pleased to connect with her, and very much appreciated seeing her when she attended my brother Doug’s funeral in Listowel one year ago. I offer my sincere sympathy. Lois Reoch.

Condolence: I remember your mom with fond memories while hanging out with you Paul and Dale Parsons at Park and John street in Waterloo so many many years ago. Recalling those memories after almost 50 years is a true testament to her character as a wonderful mom and neighbour.

Condolence: Shirley was the funniest lady and I have the fondest memories of her from working at Dominion/Manulife. We worked together for probably 10 years and she had the best stories, the best advice and a wonderful sense of humour and outlook on life. She was so young at heart I often forgot she was older than I was and she made every day at work a friendly, warm experience. Sadly, life goes on and we didn't keep in touch after I moved to another company but I will never forget her friendship and laughter and she was someone I considered a friend, not just a coworker. I would love to attend her celebration of life when it's held. She truly was a light in the room you just couldn't miss. Rest in peace my friend.
