Selgrad, Ruzica (Rosa):
Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Innisfree House, Kitchener, on Wednesday, August 28th, 2019, 24 days after her 100th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Michael Selgrad. Loving mother of George and his wife Pat Selgrad and Mary Smith. Much loved Nana to Dianna Douglas (Derek), Michelle Selgrad (Shawn Annets), and Jonathan Selgrad. Proud Great Nana to Emma, Arden, Zoe, and Ione. Rosa was a longtime resident of Cambridge before moving to Sandhills Residential Retirement Community, Kitchener. Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Rosa's life will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Saturday, September 7th, 2019 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Innisfree House would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
