Rosemary passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. She was 57. She will be fondly remembered for her family focus, big heart, and amazing spirit. She was kind, loving, beautiful, an avid gardener and an incredible cook. Rosemary was crowned Miss Tall Universe in 1991.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband William Archibald, her parents-in-law, Margaret and James Archibald, her brothers Peter Hamberger (Bonnie Bremner) and Chris Hamberger (Joyce) and brothers-in-law Douglas Wahl, Lindsay (Laurie) Archibald, and Peter (Roxanne) Archibald. Rosemary will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews Rob Berg (Leah), Kate Steele (Rob), Erin McMenemy (Rob) and Sarah Willock (Devon), Meghan, Michelle, Natalie, Seann Archibald and 9 great-nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered by her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Rosemary was predeceased by her parents Hans and Maria Hamberger and her sister Ursula Wahl.
Rosemary's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home (507 Frederick St. Kitchener 519-749-8467) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service for Rosemary will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. Rev. Fred Ludolph officiating. A reception will follow the service in the funeral home. Private cremation to take place.
After battling cancer to a standstill for seventeen years, she passed away following a cardiac episode. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Cambridge Memorial Hospital will be greatly appreciated.
