Lima, Rosa (nee De Sá)
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of family on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at her home at the age of 75.
Beloved wife of Eduino for 49 years.
Loving mother of Anna Soares (Paul). Devoted Vavó to Sophia and Marissa. Dear sister of Lourdes Bernardo (the late Tony), Estrela Cunha (João), Urania Bernardo (the late Jorge) and Manuela Raposo (Gilberto). Rosa will be missed and remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Maria (nee Melo) and Manuel De Sá.
Rosa's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 1, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. Parish prayers 8 p.m. on Friday evening.
Prayers will be offered at 11:20 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the funeral home followed by procession to Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, 300 Simeon St., Kitchener for a Funeral Mass at 12 noon.
Monsignor Eduardo Resendes officiating.
Interment Woodland Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
Special thanks to the Paramed nurses especially Cindy for all their care and support.
