I was deeply saddened to read about Bob's sudden passing. I have had the pleasure of chatting with Bob while riding beside him on a bike at Popeye's (World Gym) for many years now. He would tell me stories from his teaching days, and about his winter travels with his lovely wife (who I did get to meet once in Stratford); and their "bird" they would visit each year, and take care of. He was a wonderful man who had a way of making you feel very special; just by paying you a compliment on how nicely you were dressed that day. I will miss our chats very much.
