Passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Maureen (nee Fitzpatrick) for 67 years. Dear father of Philip. Dear brother of Rosemarie Richards (Ron). Predeceased by sisters Lena Genova, Sara and Joan Ganci and brothers Jim and Joe.
Philip served in the Royal Navy and the Canadian Navy. While with the Canadian Navy he flew off HMCS Magnificent. Philip was a professional pilot and instructor. He worked with Transport Canada and many smaller airlines finally retiring at the age of 80.
A private family graveside service will take place.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Philip's memorial.
