Condolence: My deepest sympathy to Bud, Kevin, Nancy, Tim and family's

Our hearts go out to all of you at this very difficult time. Patti and I will cherish all our memories, of the time that we spent with Millie over the years that we knew her.

Millie was not only a friend to Patti and myself she was like a mom to us over the years.

When I think of Millie, I think of a selfless, creative inspirational, and a achiever.

I can't we’re, two words that were not in Millie's vocabulary.
Millie was the creator of kids on the block. Handicap puppets teaching everyone  what it was like to live with a disability and being accepted for who you are.

Millie had a natural artistic personality she always succeeded in everything she tried from sewing, painting, soap making, beading, and learned to use computers to name a few.

Millie decided she wanted to learn how to drive and she did and got her license.

With all Millie’s life skill experiences, of raising a family and doing care giving in our community.
Millie decided she wanted to go back to school and become a registered nurse. Millie enjoyed her nursing career at Freeport hospital for 10 years.

Millie unexpectedly endured a health problem and was unable to return back to her nursing career. She just picked herself back up and pursued another interest and set a new goal.

Millie was very proud and active in her Native heritage even spending time to learn and share with others the Mohawk language. Millie was very devoted to giving support and time to her community up north and at Six Nations.

Millie experienced some very serious health conditions and recovered stronger than ever over the years. Millie never complained or felt sorry for herself….she just moved on.

Millie loved unconditionally, loved a good laugh, was a good listener, never judged, always had an optimistic outlook on life, and would give you the shirt off her back.

Patti and myself are both very grateful and better people to have had such a wonderful friend, mentor and 2nd mom in our lives. We are going to miss Millie with all our hearts.

Rest in peace Millie until we meet again.

Condolence: My dearest mother also returned to school, late in life and became a wonderful nurse who definitely found her calling. She worked for 10 years at Freeport Hospital. She was a woman that could be stopped by nothing or anyone when she decided to take something on. I will cherish the memories we shared together.

Condolence: We will always have great memories of Millie from when the family would visit us in Niagara on the Lake and all the times we went to Kitchener to see her. We always ended up with a lot of laughs and, of course, a great lunch to send us on our way.

You will be missed by all. Condolences to Bud and family.

Condolence: We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Millie. Some of my most treasured "chats" were with her. We laughed until we cried!!!! She was a woman of character, love and always willing to do what she could for people. Millie was respected by her community and loved by her family. Our deepest sympathy goes to her family. She will be most deeply missed.
