Pearl Angst
Angst, Pearl (nee McKelvey):
Passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Saint Luke's Place in her 100th year. Beloved wife for 55 years of the late Arnold (1996). Loving mother to Gary (Karen), Donna Montgomery (David), Judy Schneider (John) and Dave (Heather). Cherished Grandma to Jason (Debra), Andrea (Russell), Danna (Ken), Denise (Chris), Dean, Andrew, James (Laura), Brad (Monika), Steven (Amanda), Trevor (Amanda) and Marissa. Proud Great Grandma to Ashley, Kalana, Akela, Hayden, Jordan, Rowan, Maegan, David, Severn, Doug, Ben, Reid, Zooey, Theodore, Jack, Fiona, and Great Great Grandma to Jordyn. Predeceased by great grandson Zachary. Daughter of the late Mary Grace and William McKelvey. Dear sister of the late Joe (Mary) McKelvey. Pearl created so many memories with all her sisters-and-brothers-in law and their children; her 75 year membership with her Trinity United Church family; and with her circle of long-standing friendships. Ruth Angst is her sole surviving sister-in-law. More recently, she was embraced by her friends at Saint Luke's United Church, and her residence at Saint Luke's Place. Most especially, Ruth Atkinson, Pearl's "forever friend" and kindred spirit holds a heavy heart at this time. Pearl's family will receive relatives and friends from 3-3:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 4 p.m. Reception to follow. A private family interment was held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Osteogenesis Imperfecta Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Pearl's memorial.
