Memories of Mrs Stashuk

As a child I remember how friendly and happy she always seemed to be. She worked so hard and kept going with raising her 4 kids after her husband died. We had so much fun on our street with all of the neighbourhood kids and time in the Stashuk pool. Marion never ever seemed to be overwhelmed. And she was always dressed so nicely. Seeing her in the past few years on her porch or walking on the street with her walker with her friendly wave brought back such great memories of a childhood on Dumfries Ave. My father will certainly miss having her across the street. Who would have imagined that three of our childhood parents would still be living in their Dumfries homes into their 90s! Thinking of you Carol, Michael, Danny and Patty and all of your families at this sad time
