Passed away peacefully at St Joseph's Health Centre in Guelph on Saturday, November 7th in her 86th year.
After 28 years she is together again with her beloved husband Joseph. Loving mother of Bruce (Cheryl Hillifer-Fischer), Christine Grant (Brian), Gary (Laurie (nee Schaefer) Hartman-Fischer) of Guelph, Donna Krohman(Darcy) of Vancouver, Mary McMullin (Dave) and Mark Fischer. Loving grandmother of 24 grandchildren who were her pride & joy from whom she drew her strength. Special sister of Irene Hinsperger (Harvey) of Walkerton. Predeceased by her 5 brothers: Joe, Clarence, Leo, Seraphine & Bernard all of Mildmay. Special thanks to all the nurses & staff at St Joseph's for their loving & compassionate care over the past 5 years. She will always be remembered for her warm & beautiful smile.
Marie's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Thursday, November 12 at 9:20 a.m. followed by a procession to St. Agnes R.C. Church (75 Bluevale St. N. Waterloo), for a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment at Parkview Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Cystic Fibrosis Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
