Forwell, Margaret Johanna (nee Kurtz)
Passed away peacefully at Leisureworld Caregiving Centre in Elmira on Wednesday June 4, 2014 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Walter (1999). Loving mother of Dorothy and her husband Allan Schnurr. Devoted Nanny of Greg (Debbie), Bonnie (Gary), Mark (Julie) and Chris (Michelle) and great grandmother of Cody, Kendra, Chelsey, Zack, Dylan and Chase. Survived by in-laws Mary, Edward (Betty Jane), Betty, and Leo (Stella) Forwell, Ruth Schnarr and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Paul and Hanna, brother Paul (Marguerite) her sister Adeline and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Margaret's family will receive relatives and friends from 1:45-3:45 pm and 7-9 pm on Sunday June 8, 2014 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish Prayers 1:45 pm Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church in Maryhill on Monday June 9th, 2014 at 10 am. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery. Reception to follow at Maryhill Community Centre.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Countryside Retirement Home and Leisureworld Caregiving Centre for their compassionate care. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the House of Friendship would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
