Obituary for Leslie Edith Hase (Hase)

Leslie Edith Hase (Hase)
Hase, Leslie Edith, died suddenly on August 10, 2019. Loving mother to Julie Hasan (Muhammad Hasan), Nicole Kurzwernhart (Jordan Barkman). Loving Grandmother to Brittany, Hailey, Aleeza. Will be sadly missed by her dear sister Lynn Terry and brothers Clarke Hase (Heather Alcorn-Ferguson), and Paul Hase (Cathy). Predeceased by her sister Carole Yvonne. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, Kim JeeJeeBhoy (Pheroze), Carl Singer, Kevin Singer (Melanie), Craig Terry, Steve Stokoe (Sandi), Jessica Hase, Zach Hase, Aaron Hase, Damon Hase, Jon Hase, Zenobia JeeJeeBhoy, Sinclair JeeJeeBhoy, Nuval JeeJeeBhoy and many more extended family. Leslie always looked on the brighter side of life. She had many accomplishments by volunteering her time at events, upgrading her skills as she went back to school at the age of 63 to become a Social Support Worker and worked at Kaljas Homes caring for a great group of residences. Leslie would make acquaintances wherever she went. She was a lover of art and took many art courses to learn the different styles of art. She loved nature, animals and believed in Human Rights and Children"s Rights. Leslie loved music and concerts and the bands that would perform at Rockway Senior Centre. She had a big place in her heart for all of her family and family was everything for her. She reached out to those in need and gave people advice and hope, whether it was family, a co-worker, or a stranger on the street. Leslie never judged people and accepted everyone for who they were and tried to bring the best out in people. Leslie touched the lives of many and was admired by those who knew her. We will remember her with fondness, kindness and compassion. She will hold a special place in all our hearts from now on and forever. Loved dearly and missed greatly.

Softly in the morning,
You heard a gentle call,
You took the hand
that God offered you
And quietly left us all.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Epilepsy Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).Visit www.henrywalser.com for Leslie's memorial.
