Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the age of 82.
Beloved husband of Doreen for 62 years.
Loving father of Brian (Darlene), Cindy Schnarr (Tim), Barry (Glynis) and Brad.
Cherished grandfather of Christopher (Farm Fou), Daniel (Natalie), Cory, Kristi (Jeremiah), Kayla, Sonya, Jody, Brandon, Angela, Fons, Jay, Matthew, Melissa and many great grandchildren.
Dear brother of Rolly.
Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Eldon and Ethel Grace Bye. Ken will be missed by his furry little friends Muffy and Daisy.

Ken was a proud employee of Forbes Automotive for 47 years. He volunteered with Kitchener Minor Hockey and the Kitchener Rangers. Ken was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church. Special thanks to the First Responders for their valiant efforts, Dr. Vitou, the PD Unit at Grand River Hospital, the Home Healthcare nurses and the large team of healthcare professionals who cared for Ken.

Ken's family will receive relatives and friends from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, 2016 and from 12-12:45 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation-Peritoneal Dialysis Clinic would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
