Louisette Lantiegne

Julia was a joyful woman so full of beautiful energy and a love for learning. She treasured the collection and protected it with so much love and attention. She was vibrant, so sweet and friendly. She always made me feel a welcome part not only of the archive community but as a genuine friend. I remember submitting work and seeing her absolutely glowing when she gave me a tour of the place. This room of ideas was like a treasure trove and she showed me the collection with such pleasure it made me feel I was in a magical world. Books of Lutheran songs centuries old, the stories of how laws formed. the live and times and ideas from all ages were preciously gathered to become the fertile seeds for tomorrows innovations, policies and solutions. She was a gardener of ideas and fruits of her efforts will continue to grow forever more because of her contribution to the Laurier community. Thank you Julia for the beautiful gift of knowledge you helped gather and protect. I will remember you always for you amazing love of ideas.
