Oma, you were a kind and loving Oma. I cherished every moment we had together, even our coffee times. I have fond memories of the flower and vegetable gardens at the cottage. I strive to build flower and vegetable gardens just like you and Opa had at the cottage.
You will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Oma was a wonderful grandmother to me. She was entirely selfless and a wonderful role model to have in my life. In every memory I have of birthdays, Christmas, and Sunday mornings, there she will remain. As a kid, Oma's house was a place to have fun. I would make up little tests for her on whatever I was learning at school that month. I would bring out the sewing kit and try to mend some cloths. I would venture down to the basement kitchen and explore the boxes of junk that my dad surely left behind.
I'm going to miss everything about Oma. I'm glad my final days with her were with her. That's a courtesy not a lot of families can afford, and I'll forever be grateful that was true with Oma.
