Was called to our Lord, peacefully, on Monday, June 1, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital. Hildegard Wollschlaeger, 81 years of age, was the beloved wife of the late Ludwig Wollschlaeger (June 18, 2004) for 39 years. Dear mother of Karin Wollschlaeger and her husband Brent Lewis, Helga and her husband Bob Edwards, and Linda Wollschlaeger-Fischer and her husband Peter Fischer. Loving Oma of Katrin, Braden, Marcus, Deborah, Traben, and Jonah. Predeceased by her parents, Paul and Hedwig Gokisch and her brothers Walter and Herbert. Hildegard came to Kitchener in 1964 and was a longtime member of Bethel Lutheran Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Hildegard's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or St. Mary's Hospital would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
