Dancey, Gerald:
It is with a heavy heart to announce that our Dad passed away peacefully with family nearby on Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 at Freeport Hospital, aged 73. Loving Dad to Abigail and Jeremy (Ing). Proud Grandpa of Julian and Talia. Brother of James (Mary Anne) and David. Remembered by Sandy. His dry wit and sense of humour will also be missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. Many thanks to Dr. Schwarz and the UT3W Nursing staff for their compassionate care. Relatives and friends are welcome to visit from 7pm-9pm, Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Visitation will continue Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 10:30am-11:25am, followed by a service at the funeral home chapel at 11:30am. Reception to follow. Interment in Roseville Mennonite Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Grand River Hospital Foundation or the Ontario Lung Association as expressions of sympathy (cards available at the funeral home).
