Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the age of 90. Loving father of Elizabeth, Karen (Bruce), Joseph (Jennifer), Stephen (Veronica), Anthony and Scott (Krista). Proud "Poppy" of Christopher, Jennifer, Jacob, Tanya, James, Joschka, Andre, Everett, Lillianna, TJ, Michael, Sydney, Isaac and 9 great-grandchildren. Frank was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a huge supporter of Toronto SickKids Hospital. Through Carlton Cards, he initiated various events to support both the children and the hospital. He was a big fan of the Montreal Canadians and New York Yankees. Frank's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:30-3:15 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the chapel on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Private interment on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. As expressions of sympathy, donations to SickKids Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society or K-W Poppy Fund would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
