To the family: I am very sorry to hear of Aunt Frances' death and wish I could see you all to share my condolences. I think about her ready laugh even in the toughest times. Every first time I go in to the lake in the summer for the first time, I think about how she was the first one in the lake at the cottage in Collingwood...there may have been ice cubes floating there, I am not sure. I think about big Christmas dinners at a long table at the farm when I was young. I think about how she loved animals And my best memories are when she would come by our house in Waterloo and she and my mom would sit at the kitchen table and talk and laugh for hours....my mom with a coffee and Aunt Frances with a cup of hot water because she had recently discovered she was allergic to almost everything except water. She loved pretty things, she appreciated what Pattie and Steve did for her and would light up with pride when talking about her grandchildren. As my godmother she has a special place in my heart...I didnt see her as often as I should but enjoyed our visits over the last couple of years. She faced many challenges in her life and now will be rewarded and be reunited with all her loved ones in heaven.
