Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 8, 2015 just short of his 90th birthday.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Cornell) for 64 years. Loving father of Glen (Angela), Robert (Ann), Linda Sullivan (Dennis), Rodney (Bernita), Bradley, Pamela Lynn (Wayne), Lori Stever. Ervin will be missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister Shirley Schmidt (Fred). Predeceased by his sisters Lenore and Helen and brothers Stan, Ken and Hank.
Ervin retired from Uniroyal Goodrich after 35 years of service and while working at Uniroyal he maintained a hobby farm. Ervin had a passion for golf and until he was 84 golfed 36 holes a day. He was a long time faithful member of the Lutheran Church.
Ervin's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener and will continue on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 322 East Avenue, Kitchener followed by a reception in the church Hall.

Interment Williamsburg Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy donations to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or Lutheran Laymens League would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
