Eric passed away tragically on Sunday, February 7th, 2016 at the age of 18. Beloved son of Donna and Dan Kenkel. Loving brother of Christopher Shawn Hansen (Brenda) and Andrea Hansen (Derick). Uncle Eric of Sierra and Jade Hansen and Victoria Owczarzy. Great uncle of Dominique. Best friend of Ryan Kavanagh and cousin Mathew Kenkel-Taylor. Thanks to the MacPherson family for being a special friend to Eric over the years. Predeceased by his grandparents Frank and Patricia Kenkel, and Ralph Carleton and Lillian Bigcanoe.
Eric's family will receive relatives and friends from 10-10:45 am on Wednesday February 10, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11 am. Reception to follow.Private cremation. As expressions of sympathy, donations in support of the family may be made at the funeral home.
