Crete, Edith (nee Lamore):
Passed away peacefully at her home in Kitchener on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the age of 93. Loving mother of Helen Power (Al), Peter Crete and Diane Reid (Kevin). Cherished grandmother to Sherry Shilliday (Sam), Allan Power, Kevin Reid (Britta), Tina Williams (Brandon), Wendy, Michelle, Andrew and Kathleen Crete. Great grandmother to Megan and Carson Reid, Shannon and Shawna Shilliday, Joshua Williams, Joshua & Nicolas Coleman, Jordan Crete, Brandon & Daniel Broom, Mathew & Cole Hummel. 3 great-great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Dear sister to Helen Rilling of Barrie and Dorothy Parnis of Malta. Predeceased by grandson Brett, and siblings, Rita, Edna, Leo, George, John and Lorne.
Private cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation or Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
