It was with great sorry we learned of the passing of Dom. To all the Cardillo Family we express our sorry, yet at the same time we cannot think of our time with Dom without having a smile. He was one of the most generous and friendly individuals you could ever want to come in contact with. My years working with Dom at the City were some of the most memorable of my career. Kitchener benefited so much from having a Mayor who was always one of the people, whose first thought was always how he could contribute to the cIty and its citizens. It was an honour and privilege to have known and served with Dom. He will always have a special place in our heart.
