Dave was my oldest friend starting in grade one in Dunbarton, Ontario. Later in Ajax we we friends, neighbours and school-mates. We both started our association with the Canadian Army when we joined the Ontario Regt. Cadet Corps around 1946. He was a man whom I admired, liked and respected and I will miss him dearly
