Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the age of 58.
Loving father of Jason (Anthony), Justin and Matthew. Dear brother of Cathy Young, Tony (Paulline), Rienie (Isabel), Liz Legere (Hector), Jack, Peter (Wanda), Maryann Speek, the late Nick, the late Joe, and the late Bert. Survived by his sisters-in-law Bonnie, Carol, and Jane. Daniel will be dearly missed by his cats Misty and Ruby along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Predeased by his parents Antonius and Johanna Speek.
Cremation has taken place.
Daniel's family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the KW Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
