It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Andrew Kovacsik announces his sudden passing on Monday, May 25, 2020 aged 68 years young. Beloved father to son Adi Andrei E., daughter Lavinia and son-in-law Simion. Andrew was a wonderful man, a generous soul, loving father, an amazing grandfather to four wonderful grandchildren he loved dearly; Abigail, Anthony, Julianne and Jasmine. Andrew is survived by Ana, his brother Gheorghe (Waterloo) and sister Magdalena (Romania). He is deeply missed by his family (many cousins, nieces, nephews) and friends. We will meet again our beloved. May God bless his soul. Godspeed!
Andrew's family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A private family funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2020. Guests are invited to join the service via livestream at https://www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming. Private interment will take place. Please note that due to provincial regulations only ten people are allowed in the building at a time.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
