The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Allan Few can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Mark Edlund - Shodan

My mother sent out Sensei Few's obituary from the Saskatoon Star Phoenix. I am very sorry to learn of his death and your family's loss. Sensei taught me judo at the Sasktoon YMCA when I was a lippy, snot-nosed grade IX student back in the late 1960's. He taught me judo as well as self respect, respect for others and the self-confidence I sorely needed. I had written him a letter when he was awarded his Godan and he wrote me back to ask how I was doing. Take care of youselves and know that Sensei Few had a great impact on many other young judokas all over Saskatchewan.
