The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alice Matura can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My angel of Confidence...

My name is Trixie and I was honored to have worked at Fergus Place and to have not only cared for her, but to form a relationship that consisted of love, laughter and inspiration. Alice stole my heart upon our first meeting. She was a resident who lifted my spirits continually, always complimenting me and thanking me for my "hard work"; I would sit on her bed while she offered me treats, and we would converse about shows on tv ( ie The Bachelor, America's Got Talent ), also she would tell me stories about her love for her husband, and for her children. She often told me she had a "great life". Alice was a woman I will never forget. I will forever hear her voice at meals saying loudly " Here comes our Trixie Pixie". I will miss our conversations and her laugh; I will miss her compliments and appreciation. She had given me a sort of confidence within my job and my life..Never to be replaced. Thank you Alice for touching my life, my heart..♡.. Thank you to her family for being her centre. She loved all of you, so proud to be your mother. Ive heard many stories ...and all were beautiful.
