Obituary for Janet Lynn Dietrich
Dietrich, Janet:
After a brief illness and courageous battle, Janet passed away peacefully on Thursday July 12, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital at the age of 57. Janet was surrounded by her family at her bedside as Dad Lou came to carry his cherished “Doodlebug” to be with him in heaven. Loving daughter of Helen Hamblin (Dietrich) and the late Louis J. Dietrich. Dear twin sister to Joan Turner (Chris), Lou (Linda) and Pete (Stef). Much loved aunt to Kristen, Caitie, Tatum, Sammy and Joey. Janet was a kind and compassionate daughter/sister/friend who loved camping, laughing and mostly just enjoying the simple pleasures of life with her soulmate and Doodlebug partner-in-crime Joan.
Janet’s life will be celebrated with family and friends from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener 519-749-8467. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Carmel of St. Joseph’s or Trillium Gift of Life (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Janet’s memorial.
