Metzger, Wilhelm:
Passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 87. Loving Dad to Steve (Ecy) and Diana (Willie) Ritzmann. Cherished Deda to Andrew (Lauren) Ritzmann and Kyle (Alexis) Ritzmann and Great Deda to Logan and another on the way. Survived by his sister, Emilia Metzger and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Anna (1990) and also by his second wife, Milica (2012).
Wilhelm's family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. followed by his funeral service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery followed by a reception at Apostolic Christian Church (Nazarean), 1880 Strasburg Rd., Kitchener.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the ACCMBC Cheerful Giver Program would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
