I worked very closely with Fr. Bill in the mid 1980's when he was Pastor of St. Patrick's here in Bermuda. A wonderful person and a true gentlemen. Fr. Bill and I got along like a house on fire and he always had some very wise words for me which I heeded and took very much to heart. His wonderful and infectious smile and bubbly personality will be very deeply missed. Try not to beat the others too often on the great golf fairways above. Your work here is now done. Rest in peace, thou good and faithful servant.
Not goodbye, Padre - simply farewell - until we meet again.
