Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with C.J.D. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 surrounded by the love of family at the age of 70.

Beloved and best friend and soulmate of Laraine Burley for 30 years.

Dear sister of Morgan Strassburger (Grace), Audrey Arnold, Barb Main (Dave), Eleanor Herkert (Dieter), Ruby Kurt (Larry Smuck), twin sister to Clifford Strassburger (Kathy), Robert Strassburger (Jan), and Deborah Sperling (Tom). Dear sister in law of Nancy Strassburger (the late Albert) and Anne Strassburger (the late Dennis).
Karon was predeceased by her parents Morgan and Estella Strassburger and sister Marjorie Thompson (Wayne).

Sister-in-law to Christine Burley, Mark Burley (Janet) and Lynn Kreitzer (Tony).

Karon will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Karon was a long time member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She retired from Lear Seating after 33 years of service.

The family of Karon Strassburger will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 followed by a reception.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre or St. Peter's Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
